   Hi enah! depende po sa scars eh…some docs would just recommend simple creams with hydroquinone…pag procedure naman you can try some session of scrubs with bleach…or mild chemical peels may work din…paconsult ka muna ha? ingat!

   Hi Dave, I want to ask lang i have pimple scars on my nose part which actually it’s kinda a small keloids. What can you recommend to do to remove it? Plus all my blackheads and whiteheads are so visible that makes it quite annoying to look at? What’s the best treatment for that?

    Hi Ino! for balckheads and whiteheads, i suggest that you do a facial cleaning (comedone extraction or pricking) at least once a month…For your keloidal scar ( are you sure it’s a keloid?), derma docs usually inject kenacort analogs or steroids to flatten it…Pwede ding extraction…depende sa doc…nagpaconsult ka na ba? if not, i suggest patingin mo muna sa dermatologist para makita kung ano talaga yan okay? balitaan moko..ingat ka!

    Hi po. Ano po bang treatment ang pampatanggal ng whiteheads & blackheads sa ilong? Tapos po parang mga open pores na nag mark sa cheeks, di masyadong malaki. forehead & chin ko. Meron din po ako pimples pero di naman madami. Gusto ko po kasing kuminis yung balat ko & walang blemishes o kung ano man. 15 palang po ako. Thank you po.

    HI Jackie! for those, it is recommended to routinely do facial extraction or comedone extraction…besides, you are just 15, mejo on very active pa ang hormones mo and that’s one of the reasons why you get those break outs…Pero i suggest na you take good care of your face, never touch or prick your pimples with fingers to prevent cross infection ( kasi kahit anong hugas natin ng fingers natin, madumi padin yan)..Usuall facial pricking talaga then para maiwasan ang infection may antibiotic na pinapahid sa face after the facial…some docs would also prescribe oral medications to prevent facial oils from building up too much sa face to prevent clogs sa pores…ok? sa paconsult ka muna ha? ingat po!

    I am currently working in saudi now. I will have my vacation on coming May 9, 2012 – June 21, 2012. Gusto ko
    sana pumuti pa ang skin ko. I have fair skin right now but not that white talaga. Gusto ko rin maalis ang littel scars, white heads and dry skin on my face. effectinve ba ang glutathion injection sa face ko?
    i want to ask also if how much is the cost now of vicky belo glutathion injection? mga ilan kayang vials ma-consume ko
    before i will get the effect and how much would it costs me? meron na kayang effect in this short span of time of my vacation both my skin and my face?

    Hi Nylram! you’re welcome! and welcome back sa Philippines!well if you really want a smoother and whiter skin, you can try various whitening treatments such as skin bleaching, mild chemical peels and other resurfacing treatments. yes, IV glutathione is very effective for skin whitening…The effect may vary. If you have a fair skin, then it might work pretty good! In just a span of 1-2 months, you will see visible results na…usually 15 sessions are recommended…2-3 times a week injection…Sa Belo if im not mistaken it’s 3,360 per session…mejo pricey. so kung gusto mo makatipid, you can try other derma clinics…parehas lang naman yun eh…or kung may kilala kang nagbebenta ng gamot at may kilala kang nurse na marunong mag administer, mas makakatipid ka…balitaan moko! ingat!

    HI jackie! some flawless clinics would not ask fora consultation…but in some, they would ask you 150-200 ata if im not mistaken…Yes, you can try their acne control kit once recommended to your skin…don’t forget to ask for the instructions..ingat po!

    helo….dave i have dark spot sa face ko, at acne scar ung iba pa nga red, at feeling ko d na ntanggal, even if i put some cream na to lighten it but i think walang epekto…haist….got dismayed much!!! last year lang ako tinigyawat dito manila….i think nanibago ako here….wat treatment ang best for this?ung mabilis at mawawala agad… i miss my flawless face…wen im looking at my grad photo…i’m missing it..wala man lang kcng inedit dun, ai meon eyebags lang..hehe..pls help…tanks..im glad to hear from u…

    Dear Dave,

    I have deep scars on my face due to pimple pricking during my adolescent years. Though i have always tried
    micro dermabrasion everytime i come home for my annual vacation, still the scars are there. I am fair-skinned,
    and aboviously it is very noticeable. They say dermaroller treatment is advisable but i have no idea how is this
    being done and how much it cost me. Which derma clinic is the best that i could visit.

    Hi Ynnad! how many sessions of microdremasion have you tried?most dermatologist would a suggest atleast 6 sessions to see noticeable results…By the way, have you consulted a derma doc regarding your scars? Have you tried fraxel laser therapy? most docs are using it for deep scars nowadays…Also, the erbium yag laser works well..Also, deeper or more intense chemical peels may work.For severe scars, scar revision surgery may be suggested or even a combination of the aformentioned tretments..I suggest that you consult a derma doc first for proper skin assessment and advice…Good luck Ynnad!

    Hi jho!sorry for the late rep been very busy… have you consulted a derma doc already?merong nabbili over the counter na hydroquinone 2 percent for dark spots but im not sure if it’s gonna work for you…for acne scars, depende din sa type ng scars…usually these scars are treated with lasers…for milder ones, pwedeng derabrasion or chemical peel…or even combination of those…i suggest that you consult a derma doc muna for proper assessment,,ingat po!

    HI Chim! im not really sure about the price…but for tatoo’s, laser is usually used to take em off..However, the main risk is scarring. I recall one person some years back who did not like her eyebrow tattoo and used Retin A cream (generic is tretinoin) once or twice a day on the area. This irritated the skin, but the tattoo pigment faded quite impressively. Tretinoin is by prescription, so your doctor would need to get you the prescription. Take care Chim!

I just want to ask before, I have a fungal infection and it leaved me marks on my body parang balat, my dermatologist gave me cream, nabubura naman siya and na babalik yung normal skin ko, pero antagal kasiis there any way or what treatment/ package should I get? hirap kasi summer pa naman can’t enjoy pag may ganito.. please help.

    Helloe raine!well, I am not quite sure how the marks look like…isit scaly in appearance?if yes, then you definitely need to apply the cream…moisturizer ba daw ang cream na yun? you can ask your dermatologist if you can try a mild chemical peel on that area…

    Hi redgine! capsules ba ng gluta? how about glutathione injections? have you tried that? mas effective kasi yun…after 10-15 sessions, may makkita ka ng imporovements…Also, pwede mong sabayan ng skin bleaching to even out the tone of your body…tas syempre you need to avoid sun exposure para di masayang ang pinaghirapan…hehe. mejo pricey ngalang ang glutathione injections pero effective… Ingat ka!

    HI Jayvee! yup pwede naman..pero i suggest paconsult ka muna ha? para makita talaga ang severity ng pimples mo…and mabigyan ka proper advice…for acne marks, usually ibang treatment ang ginagawa, and depende po sa mark…pag mejo superficial lang you can try a number of sessions ng power peel…
